As a Business Analyst, you will work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes and the implementation of new business processes.
The Business Analyst performs a liaison between the business and the IT, and executes tasks, at all levels of complexity during each phase of an implementation project including business process re-engineering, business analysis, training, testing, and support.
Missions:
BAU (Business As Usual):
• Ownership of the application support/incident management process (issue identification, root cause analysis, issue resolution, testing and change management)
• Act as a trusted counterpart on functional issues
• Perform end-user training and support
• Provide support to end users via ticketing system and during monthly closing processes
• Review and challenge existing BAU processes and documentation and ensure continuous process improvements (including automation where possible) are met by designing, documenting, and executing optimal processes
Process improvement:
• Lead structured meetings and use collaborative workshops to capture requirements and uncovered expectations
• Assess processes; identify the current and future business processes
o finance processes ( AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Budget monitoring)
• Elicit what is behind and underneath stated requirements rather than just collecting and organizing requirements
• Design functionally the core model solution based on business inputs
• Ensure the proposed solutions fit into the global strategy and core model
• Define and execute tests scenarios related to the function built
• Perform validations and testing of system changes and implementation
• Deliver recommendations and reports to stakeholders
• Report progress / risk / issues / alert on the project to the project manager
• Capitalize knowledge and documentation by delivering elements of systems design, data migration rules, business rules, etc.
• Facilitate communication between internal project team and vendor
